THANK YOU to everyone who shared inspiration for Eastport Choice Placemaking!

Between the online visioning sessions and in-person pop-up events, more than 50 residents contributed their ideas for public art and placemaking features at the intersection of President Street and Madison Street. The Graham Projects Placemaking team will now commence the development of design options. Residents and stakeholders will be invited in mid-April to vote for their favorite design. Additionally, in-person locations where the design options can be viewed and votes cast will be announced soon.

About: As part of the Eastport Choice Neighborhood Initiative, the City of Annapolis and the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA) are collaborating with Graham Projects to improve pedestrian safety at the intersection at President Street & Madison Street using traffic calming art. In addition, placemaking features such as site furnishings and neighborhood wayfinding signs will be added around the intersection to enhance the bus stops and welcome residents and visitors to the neighborhood.
